Supporting Our Community

The Schleicher family and the rest of Henderson Transfer Company is involved in many charitable organizations and community programs.  It is important to us that members of our community grow together without leaving others behind.  Whether it is education, health, disaster relief, or veteran reverence, we believe it is everyone's responsibility to provide what they can to those in need.

Social Clubs

Henderson Transfer has long standing relationships with many social clubs and organizations in Vincennes including Elks, Harmony Society, Kiwanis, VFW, Rotary, and Knights of Columbus.

Education

We are a proud supporter of both Vincennes Community School Corp and the Catholic Education Foundation.  We also provide scholarship funds for many programs in our area.

Veterans

Being a Transportation Service Provider for our nation's military is very important to us.  Our veterans have put it all on the line and some have paid the ultimate price.  We thank them for their service! We have taken it upon ourselves to manage the Wreaths for Knox County campaign as part of Wreaths Across America. The goal is to place a living Christmas wreath on the final resting place of every veteran in order to remember and honor them, as well as to teach others about the sacrifices our veterans have made.

Youth

The wellbeing of our children is the measure of success in our communities.  It is our mission to engage with efforts to limit the deficiencies of our developing friends.  We are supporters of Toys for Tots, YMCA, Touch-A-Truck, Shop with a Cop, as well as local youth sports organizations such as Vincennes Cub League and Vincennes Youth Soccer.

Faith

In addition to being a primary relocation partner with United Methodist Churches in our area, we've contributed to many church restoration projects and fundraising efforts for many denominations over the years.
